Let me start off saying thank you for all the views on my first month I would've never thought i'd reach thousands of viewers and I'm even more excited to continue sharing all of me with you dolls <3

So when I was first adventuring with lipsticks I hated how certain colors especially pinks made my teeth appear yellow.. In my head I was like "ok eww this looks busted I need to find a solution ASAP"

Prior to my inner thoughts I had tried crest whitening but the sensitivity I felt was too much for me to handle plus a month supply goes for about $50 and you know me and my bargains.

I found this DR. George's Dental White Gel on Amazon and my life has never been the same lol well my smile hasn't lol. Now let's get something clear my teeth weren't yellow to an extreme at all I had normal teeth but I wanted them to be even whiter so I made this purchase on amazon.

How does it work ?

DR. George's Dental White Gel comes in a form of a toothpaste tubr and in the box it comes with two custom trays that you boil in hot water to mold your exact fit. Then you apply the gel on the tray and insert onto your teeth. You can only do one at a time because if not you will be drooling all over the place lol (You're welcome)

F.Y.I it does say it on the box but incase you don't read it for the first couple of days of use your teeth are going to look stained like extra white in certain areas this is normal and will go away in a couple of minutes to an hour so if you feel like you're going to feel self conscious apply it before bedtime so that by the time you awake your teeth will be back to normal.

I honestly saw results within a week I don't use it as often anymore only on a special occasion I pop em on before I apply my makeup to give my smile that extra shine

Oh and also just so you know..

I was at an appt at NYU Dentistry and I decided to ask about professional teeth whitening and the dentist told me that teeth whitening isn't permanent even the pricey professional one eventually your teeth will go back to its old shade and you have to come back within 9 months to whiten them again..

So with that being said I really suggest you purchase this for $20 on amazon I've had if for months and I'm not even half way through. Anytime I feel like my teeth are getting a little darker in shade I apply the gel and vualaaah :) it's like magic

Keep in mind what works for me might not necessarily work for you I wasn't a coffee drinker, smoker, I never had braces or any of those other things people claim to yellow your teeth but that doesn't mean you can't give it a try.

My teeth today since it is Thanksgiving I decided to put them on for 20 minutes which is the shortest I've ever left them in but no filter picture proof..

Hey Dolls let's get to business lol

Wash your face and apply your facial moisturizer 

I applied some Revlon Photoready Concealer "Light Pale" to prime my eyes I won't talk about how I did my eyeshadow because I am a beginner like this might just be my fourth time in life applying shadow on myself lol

Next I apply my Mac Prolongwear concealer in shade NW30 to conceal my dark circles with my Beauty Blender I got a Ricky's in soho for $18.99 I know it's a lot but I had to try it out lol don't judge me. Yes I do love it !

I finally found a foundation that doesn't give me the "ghost" appearance once I take a picture with flash.

L'Oreal Paris True Match super-blendable makeup foundation in "Caramel Beige W7" 

I definitely have to use my Neutrogena shine control powder to set this foundation because it will make me look like a grease ball ( I forgot it once I looked a hot mess, thankfully you guys have my clumsy self to warn you ) 

Next I added some color to myself with my Victoria Secret Luminous Bronzer

Ladies I'm not an expert on winged liner. My right side comes out perfect and then my left side is the total opposite lol it's all over the place, but if you are applying shadow line your upper lash line it will add that extra umphh! I used my favorite favorite did I mention favorite NYX Liquid Black Liner 

Lengthen those lashes ladies for only $2.99 I spoke about it before now I am providing picture proof Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

I usually love some red cheeks but today I'm going more pink so I applied my Nars "Gaiety" blush

I lined my lips with NYX Lipliner Pencil in 816 Fuchsia and filled in my lips with NYX Matte "Shocking Pink" Lipstick 

No filter lipsticks true color (Idk why I looked so hyped lol)

Finish off with a little perfume tonight I'm wearing Marc Jacobs "Dot" perfume. It's Berrylicious lol

L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lip Liner in shade "Beyond Pink" for $2.99 (I tried it on and I'm obsessed with this shade I will be going back tomorrow to stock up on it. It's creamy and a perfect pink for me 

The picture bellow is one I took yesterday in the car almost blinded myself with all of the flash but how beautiful is this lip liner ?! I applied it all over as a lipstick

Last on the list is one of my favorite affordable curling irons I previously owned the purple one which I also bought in Lot-less about two years ago and when I saw the pink one I just had to get it.

Hey dolls ! 

So I'm having a little date night with my love and decided to pack my "to go" makeup bag for school tomorrow.

To start off since I wear a lot more makeup during the weekend because of work I keep it extremely light for my week of school. 

I recently purchased the L'Oreal Paris true match super-blendable powder in shade W7 I use it to add some color and warm up my face. This color is true to my skin tone and compliments my yellow undertone perfectly finally something with me in mind ! I applied this with my Real Techniques "Multi-Task Brush"

In my bag I carry my Super Stay 24 Concealer in shade Medium Beige I apply it under my eye to cover up some of my dark circles I'm not trying to look like a walking zombie for school lol 

 

Nars "Gaiety" blush it's a very beautiful pink blush that I apply on my cheeks I applied this with my Elf Blush Brush

This week I've also been trying and loving my Jordana "Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara" it's only $2.99 at Duane Reade. If you're looking for an affordable mascara I recommend it, it does it's job and makes my lashes look beautiful 

Lastly keep your lips moisturized, my Nivea A Kiss of Mint & Minerals has been my go to lip care since July and I've loved it. It moisturizes my lips without leaving that white residue some chapsticks tend to leave behind.

Ever considered a thinning hair cut rather than a trim ?

I love my hair but because I'm extremely scared of scissor happy hair stylist (You know the ones you instruct to trim only 1" and at the end you are missing 4" of hair) because of this I have neglected my ends. My ends were getting really bad but I was so in love with my length that I did some research on alternatives. I found out about thinning scissors.

How does it work?

As you can see on the picture above these thinning scissors come in shape of a comb. So let's say you were to section off your hair. Let's pretend you have 100 strands of hair you place the scissor somewhat in the middle and when you snap it closed it only cuts off about 40-50 strands. So what it does is thin out your ends you still have the same volume of hair up top but your hair will lay flatter.

This is also recommended for people with really thick long hair that get headaches because of the weight of their hair. By thinning it out the hair becomes lighter and still remains the same length.

How did it work for me? 

Since I neglected my ends for so long even if I took 3 hours to straighten my hair my ends wouldn't lay straight it would be crumpy looking and I hated that. Below I will post a picture of what my hair looked like before I don't have a better picture but you can clearly see how busted my ends looked :

My hair would be pin straight at the top but all ugly at the bottom lol I hated it.

When I went for my thinning hair cut my stylist told me that because my ends are bad this haircut will only buy me time to grow my hair a little longer but I would eventually have to cut some off regardless. Below is a picture of my current hair. I haven't cut it yet only thinned my hair.

So far I love it, it's exactly what I needed in about two-three weeks I will go in for my hair cut to get rid of the rest of my split ends.

Make sure you know who you let handle your hair. A thinning hair cut can go terribly wrong if your stylist gets a little too scissor happy as well. You can end up looking like you have a mullet or your hair is short and you were only able to get 3 little hair extensions in. The ratio of hair to ends doesn't match up and it will look extremely weird.

Get ready with me

Hey beauties I'm headed to work and decided to show you guys how I get ready for a longggg night lol

Make sure you wash your face! 

Start off applying your favorite moisturizer. I use Cetaphil Derma Control Oil Control Moisturizer with SPF 30

Next I dampen my beauty sponge and apply concealer under my eyes. When I don't want an extreme highlighted under eye I mix my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in shade "Medium'' with my Maybelline Super Stay 24 Concealer in shade "Medium Beige". I mix these two together because the Fit me Concealer highlights but doesn't do such a good job concealing my dark circles so the Super Stay Conceals but doesn't brighten up my under eye. The combination of both work really well for me. I dab dab dab with my beauty sponge in the form of a check shape. I head down and then up towards the top end of my cheek bones.

I don't always apply foundation I'm more of a tinted moisturizer and a BB cream kind of girl lol but I have yet to fall in love with a foundation so I'm trying out the Neatrogena SkinClearing oil-free makeup foundation with Salicylic Acid in shade "Honey Beige 110" I apply this with my Real Techniques Stippling Brush for a flawless application

I then grab a bronzer tonight I'm Using Victoria's Secret Luminous Bronzer. I apply it on the temples of my forehead to add dimension to my face that disappears when you apply foundation. I then bring it down to do a little subtle contouring to my cheeks.

I then grab one of my favorite blushes. Very affordable this color is just perfect for me it's the Wet n Wild Coloricon Blusher. Unfortunately it doesn't have the name :/ I'll try and find that out for you guys sorry. I apply this on my cheeks and bring it back just a little.

Now it's Mascara time! I'm obsessed with this L'oréal Paris Telescopic Mascara in black. I love all of their mascaras but I've been reaching for this one lately it really give you beautiful natural length. I apply just a little on my bottom lashes because this mascara is lengthening it will make you look like you have spider lashes if you apply too much. 

Too finish it off I used my Neutrogena Shine Control Powder, my really good friend suggested this for me and I've been using it for two weeks and it's done such a good job on keeping my skin matte (Shine Free). Expect a review in the future I like to test my new products for a couple of weeks to get a more accurate review.

I finish off my look with my Favorite Perfume of all time "Princess" by Vera Wang got it off of groupon for 40$

All of these Products can be found at your local drug store. My make up brushes are from Ulta (Real Techniques) and my blush brush is from Crown Brush I purchased it on (HauteLook)

Are you about that hair life ?

Midterm week is finally over for me :) Sorry about the delay girls, to make it up I decided to blog about how I got my hair to grow so long so fast. 

So a couple of years ago I decided to cut my hair a little below my ears (Inspired by Rihanna) I loved the cut and actually maintained it for an entire year trimming it every couple of months. Even though I enjoyed how quickly I was able to straighten my hair I could only do so much and decided to start letting it grow.

I did some research and everyone kept talking about biotin there were so many options. Some that made you break out, others that's that didn't work at all but I finally found one that was perfect.

Nature's Bounty "Hair, Skin and Nails" 5,000 mcg of Biotin - I got mine at Costco but it is available in Walgreens. When I first started using it I didn't even bother reading the instructions and was just taking one a day about a month in I realized I was suppose to be taking 3 a day. My Hair started to grow long and fast. Be aware though that you won't notice change right away because It is hair but if you're consistent with it by the time you are half way done with your bottle you will see a difference in length. My nails also started to grow and they were healthier and stronger and wouldn't break as easily. As for my skin because I don't necessarily get acne I don't know how much it helps with any of that but my face retained more moisture and was barely dry. 

Would I Recommend - 100% yes I have already done so with so many of my friends, all different ages, skin and hair and I have gotten nothing but positive feedback. 

Tips: Ladies please make sure you buy the exact one on the picture above and that it is 5,000 mcg. This brand carries a green bottle and a pink one that looks exactly like the one I have only that it is 3,000 mcg. Friends of mine who have tried the other brands didn't see much difference so please just make sure you get the right one. Remember! I feel like a mom constantly repeating myself but consistency is key in order to see results.
