Vday my way

Lots of kisses and love to all of my beautiful readers <3 I've had a terrible case of eczema over the past three weeks and have been feeling very under the weather. Since Valentines Day is soon approaching I worked on a little look for you featuring the Urban Decay Naked 2 Pallete. I'm still not comfortable with working with shadows and while experimenting I've come to the conclusion that I am not a fan of glittery shadows but since I already have the palette I decided to work with it.

The two colors I used were Verve on the lid and Blackout on the outter corner. I used a light orange transition color from a nameless pallete I borrowed from my mom to blend it all together.

Once I was done blending blending blending I combined both NYX Liquid Liner and Jordana Fabuliner to create my winged liner

Next I applied Mascara you can use any kind I just randomly chose the L'Oreal Voluminous False lashes
I guess the name gave me some inspiration because I finales reached for one of my many lashes and attempted to stick them on lol "attempted" being the key word

I applied the Ardell Professional Natural Lashes in 108 with a Duo Lash Adhesive

Now it's time for foundation make sure you were a light foundation you don't want to look too dolled up for Valentines day I chose this medium to light coverage foundation and applied it with my Real Techniques Stippling Brush

Then did some highlighting underneath my eye with this Maybelline "Fit Me" concealer

I set my concealer with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit I used the shade "Banana"
& for some light contouring I carved out my cheek bones using the "Java" shade on my cheeks

Since my eyes were already pretty dramatic I wanted to keep the rest of the look simples so I reached for this beautiful Milani Cosmetics Baked Blush in 05
Next I chose NYX Butter Gloss in Créme Brûlée

Then I finished off my look with my go to highlighter from theBalm

I've always had my eyes on this Conair heated rollers kit but never wanted to pay $40 for it so you can imagine how happy I was when I found it on clearance at target for only $22! It was mine without a doubt
What you have to do it connect it allow the rollers to heat up then roll them in your hair leave them on for 10+ min and once you let them lose your hair is bouncy, shiny and feel and looks super healthy !

Well that's it for tonight have a Happy Valentine's Day my love xoxo

Day to Day Wearable Makeup

Hey Beauties <3
So I know Spring Semester is starting for many of you dolls and I've come up with an easy, quick and beautiful makeup routine to look awake and ready for class even on your craziest mornings. So let's start ! Do keep in my my routine is oily skin friendly I know spring is coming soon and though our skin is a little under control do to the weather I promise this routine will pull through the warm days to come.
Moisturize your face I am using the Nourish Ogranic Face Lotion that I received in my Ipsy January Glam Bag
Since I've been sick and haven't got much sleep and I do work overnight I am combining two concealers. One to cover up my dark circles and the other to highlight my under eye. If you don't suffer from dark circles then the highlight will do just fine it is amazing in itself. So to conceal and balance out the darkness in my under eye I use the Laura Mercier Secret concealer in "Shade 4"
To highlight I use my favorite for the past two months my NARS creamy concealer in "Medium 1" I use my Real Techniques Foundation Brush to apply the Laura Mercier concealer and then dap the Nars concealer on top using my finger.

The secret to this look is the BB cream instead of foundation. It isn't going to make you feel like you have tons of makeup on yet your skin will look flawless throughout the day. My go to BB cream is Garnier in shade Medium/Deep. Perfect for controlling oily T-Zones throughout the day. I apply this lightly using my Real Techniques "Stippling Brush"

If you only use the NARS concealer you can skip this step but because the Laura Mercier concealer is very thick and creamy it tends to settle into my lines so setting is a must. I use Ben Nye Luxury Banana Powder to keep it looking fresh and keep it in place all day. To Apply this I used my Real Techniques "Setting brush" tapped some into the cap and when I dipped by brush I tapped out all of the excess powder so it wouldn't cake up underneath my eye (That is a must!)

Next you can grab any mascara for this look I decided to try out the Urban Decay "Big Fatty Mascara" that was sent to me with my purchase at ULTA. I loved the way my lashes look but it does rub off easily and that's a no no for me I don't want to look like a panda throughout my day.

On to my favorite part of this look BLUSH ! Oh my gosh where are my tanned girls at this is the color for us this is NYX "Cocoa blush". Picture does it no justice but its the perfect bronzy blush that adds just the right amount of a flushed look to your cheeks. I applied this with my Elf Blush Brush
After I apply chapstick this one was homemade for me by my little sister. I then put on NYC butter gloss in "Eclair" this butter gloss in my opinion is so universal I think it would look so nice on any skin tone + it makes me feel like Kim Kardashian.. maybe cause I never wear gloss but that has defintely changed after I saw how good this looked.

Lastly I finish off my look with theBalm "Mary-Lou Manizer" With a Fan brush I apply it on my cheek bones, down the bridge of my nose, at the end of my brow line and put a little over my cupids bow <3

The pic doesn't do the look justice but this is no filter and you can see how flawless my face looks. "We woke up like thisssss - Bey's Voice lol"

Trying to rock your natural hair ?

When your hair has naturally air dried roll it up into a curl and pin it. Leave it on for 30+ Mins or while you do your makeup. Adding a little bit of hair spray is optional. Let pins go and boom natural looking curls gives your flat natural hair a little more volume.

Until next time beauties <3

Prepping for beauty sleep

I love taking my time putting on makeup everyday, love your skin and remove all of it at night before bedtime. Your pillows will thank you and so will your skin. Sleeping with makeup deprives your pores from breathing and instead causes them to clog up which can result in breakouts. Prevent this by removing your makeup EVERYNIGHT !

To start off I pin my hair back. I then grab my Maybelline Clean Express Oil-Free Makeup remover and pour it onto a cotton pad. I always start with my eye because mascara is the messiest to remove. Thankfully this makes it easier. Gently rub your eyes until you have removed all of the mascara and shadows. Then grab another cotton pad and wipe off your concealer, foundation and etc. Your face will look oily even though it is oil free.
Next head to the bathroom and grab your favorite Cleanser. I have been loving this Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser with Salicylic Acid. It completely replaced my Neautrogena Grapefuit which was over drying my skin in the winter. After I wash it once, I grab my Sirius Sonic Brush and go over my face again to assure myself I removed all of my makeup. You'd be surprised how much makeup ends up on the brush. Once I pat my face dry I grab more cotton pads and apply my favorite Clean & Clear Toner this is my third bottle. I haven't tried any other brand but this one has been working just fine for me. Once my face dries up I apply my face lotion and little bit of chapstick and I am ready for bed. Don't forget to floss and brush.

You are now ready for your beauty sleep princess <3

Love you all thank you for visiting

What was in my first Ipsy Glam Bag (January) ?

1. Briogeo "Don't Despair, Repair!" Deep conditioning mask

2. Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow creamy eye pencil

3. Mica Beauty Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm in "#6 Fiesta"

4. Nourish Organic Face Lotion

5. Proactiv Mark Fading Pads (4x)

First Impression:
So I was super excited to recieve my bag after all of the reviews I saw on YouTube. First of all I feel like I barely got anything compared to all of the reviews I saw. Their bags were jam packed mine could've definitely fit more products. I was dissappointed even though I'm excited to try the few things I got. I guess I will give it until March and see if my bag gets better because I definitely like the whole idea I'm just bummed I didn't recieve more things and none of the brands I picked. On the plus side the facial lotion and hair mask are organic and I'm loving the ingredients and can't wait to use them all up.

I'll be posting my Ipsy Bag monthly so come check with me then for my February Ipsy Bag <3
